It was lots of learning, lots of fun and I got to know more make-up artists.....

Product of the month: Ponds cold cream

Before getting my Ponds cold cream,  I had heard so much about it. This product removes makeup completely and also moisturises my skin.

It also removes mascara easily and does not sting my eyes.

How to apply: I massage a little cream all over my face, then I rinse with warm water and pat my face . I also sometimes wet a cotton pad and use it to wipe my face.

Benjabelle brush tree

I wash my personal makeuo brushes once a week and I wash my pro brushes once I use  it on a client.

Anytime I wash my brushes I always look for space to  line up my brushes...and I kept wondering why I could not get something that would make them stand straight.

You know if water gets to the  handle the glue will get loose and this will make the hairs fall off...blah blah.

Anyway through a group on facebook I found out about the Benjabelle brush tree and completely fell in love..

I finally ordered it and was able to test it. It doesn't take up space and you can always dismantle it and put away in a drawer or bag.

Natural hair meet up in abuja June 1st

If you look through my posts you are bound to see me in my twist outs in some pictures. I have not used relaxer on my hair since about september 2010.  I went through a transition period where I fixed artificial locs. After some time I did the big chop.

Last year in August I decided to loc my natural hair. I have kinky twists on now but I will probably take it off so I can show it at the meet up. Time to stop rambling....

Natural hair meetup (everyone is welcome) holds June 1st by 1.30 pm at The Hut (Soho lounge). Plot 20/22 Aminu Kano crescent , Maitama. Natural hair and body products as well as makeup will be up for sale with free goodies.
