Natural hair meet up in abuja June 1st

If you look through my posts you are bound to see me in my twist outs in some pictures. I have not used relaxer on my hair since about september 2010.  I went through a transition period where I fixed artificial locs. After some time I did the big chop.

Last year in August I decided to loc my natural hair. I have kinky twists on now but I will probably take it off so I can show it at the meet up. Time to stop rambling....

Natural hair meetup (everyone is welcome) holds June 1st by 1.30 pm at The Hut (Soho lounge). Plot 20/22 Aminu Kano crescent , Maitama. Natural hair and body products as well as makeup will be up for sale with free goodies.

Make-up and baby matters

Some of my readers probably know I gave birth late last year and some don't.  In case you have been wondering where I disappeared to.

While it might seem like I have not been too active on my blog, I had been busy on the mommy front.

Apart from wearing my mommy cap, I have been busy fixing lash extensions, doing makeup as well as stocking up my studio.

Apart from offering movile services I now run my own studio located at the 3rd avenue neighnourhood stores in Gwarinpa Abuja. 

I have my inner room where I do my lash extensions, brow threading and the outer room os for make-up consultation and display of products I sell.

Products include Fashion fair, Red cherry lashes, Sacred lashes, Duo  Adhesive, Ardell lashes,  Avon, Milani, Brush sets.........the list goes on.

So I am back to regular blogging after my *maternity* leave.

I have  so much to share and I guess I wil take it one blog post at a time .

I recently opened my studio at Gwarinpa and I promise to post pictures as soon as it is officially launched. Apart from being a makeup studio it has a lash and brow bar where I will be offering services such as lash extension, brow sculpting, brow tinting and a whole lot more.

I am however excited to announce that Yazi's Place now stocks Sacred Artistry Products in Abuja. Sacred Creative Artistry is run by celebrity MUA Lola Maja-Okojevoh.

Products include her own brand of Lashes called Sacred lashes, Red Cherry lashes, empty palettes for depotting as well as makeup palettes which are given to students in her academy.

Make-up tools purchased for July..

Hi everyone, So I got some tools that I needed for my mobile makeup and lash extension business. A lot of people were surprised when I didn't buy cosmetics like I normally do. I just stuck to items that I needed after all I am a makeup artist and not a makeup junkie, lol.

 

First on my list is the real techniques core collection and starter set. I love how colourful the brushes are.... Also the bristles are soooo soft.

 

 

The starter set has the eyeshadow, crease, accent, liner and brow brushes.

 

 

 

The core collection has a buffing brush, concealer brush, foundation brush and a highlighting brush. I also love the cases they came inside.

 

 

Second on my list is a portable massage bed for my lash extension clients. To fix semi permanent lashes one needs to lie down flat and this bed is the perfect solution.

I decided to get a shade for myself so I can test it back in the Nigerian weather and see how it holds. I loved it while i was in the UK.
